Crescent Models are suppliers of limited edition, hand assembled, finely detailed models of flying boats with a theme of "Solent Aviation" together with lesser known but classic British aircraft. Crescent Models is run by an aviation model collecting enthusiast who started the business after unsuccessfully trying to find a model of the Saunders Roe Princess flying boat and thereafter deciding to design, resource and produce quality models as a cottage industry, starting with the "Princess". We offer a personal, friendly and enthusiast-based service to the discerning aviation model collector. The flying boats will form part of the "Wings Across the Sea Series" and will all be limited to only 100 examples at a scale of 1:144. They will be built to customer order only and feature a "Certificate of Authentication" giving the model number and confirmation that only 100 models will be built. No stock will be held of these models.The other lesser-known aircraft models will not be a limited production run and will form part of the "Classic Aircraft Series".
